Organizing Blogging Business to Make Way for PLR Challenge
Well, this is it. February was the month I said I was going to start my PLR project. It’s already past mid-month and I haven’t written one word. Well, what have I been doing? Writing, writing, writing! I closed my writing services during the holidays and about 30 days ago I re-opened my services and that’s all she wrote. It has been that busy.
However, this project is very near and dear to me because I want to utilize my talents to help get our family out of debt. School loans and everything else has handicapped our family, but blogging has really helped out. The PLR project will help us start up our debt free goals. Sometimes helping others financially starts with getting yourself right first.
Getting organized
- All business orders will need to be completed on a set schedule. This will allow me to fit in some writing towards this project on a daily basis.
- Don’t take in more business than can be handled. I can either get assistance from another writer (which I have been hesitant on doing), but if the quality is still there–this shouldn’t be a problem. Of course I would let my customers know up front.
- Keep myself accountable daily and weekly. Blogging about it is certainly helping to do that. Not only do I know about this goal, but so does the online world.
Getting started
I said February, so even if it’s February 28, 2010, I will have to write something. My goal is the following:
- Write at least 10,000 words a week (which is about 2 PLR packs)
- Final goal is to have written 20 packs (approximately 3 months to complete)
I only plan on having these PLR articles out at a limited number so there will not be a flood of the same PLR going around. Once the 20 pack foundation has been created, I will just maintain it from there. As the packets run out, I will make sure that there is a unique one in its place.
I am trying to make this doable for myself as I also have a blogging business to maintain as well. The products won’t only be your typical PLR blog articles, but there will be other things included as well. Don’t want to give away too many details too soon. This blog post was mainly to get me focused, organized, and started without sacrificing the article writing and Unique Article Wizard submissions that I am currently doing for my clients.
I think these are essentials for anything you want to start in life, but it first starts with holding yourself accountable. Wish me well with this new and exciting endeavor!

Will look out for your PLR service as I know first hand the quality of your writing!
Thank you kindly Clefty! I’m really looking forward to it myself, I think it will be lots of fun to put together….I will definitely let everyone know.
Looking forward to your PLR business. Can’t have too many quality PLR available.
It’s hard finding balance between your own work and client work, especially because the client work is what brings in the money right away. But I’m sure you’ll find it (although I’m still looking for the right balance myself
