Hostgator Has Helpful and Cost Effective Hosting

Now that I am getting into blog flipping as part of my 2010 goals, I had to make a decision in regards to cost effective hosting and setting up a resellers account. Being that this would be my first reseller account, I accidentally set it up incorrectly last weekend. Well, this didn’t give me a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing that I have made it my goal to flip two sites this Tuesday and definitely wanted to be able to do my own hosting if need be.

Out of the two technical assistant tickets created, my frustration slowly diminished. I’m not sure about everyone else’s experience when it comes to dealing with Hostgator (I have heard different stories), but my experience with them has been nothing but great :-) . I almost had a panic attack, but it seems like everything went so smoothly.

I do recommend, regardless of any hosting services you go with, that when you do have an issue that comes up (and when you deal with online marketing, you are guaranteed to have a few) that you save each ticket as well as each chat session. This will better help the next representative understand your situation and your needs should get serviced effectively and swiftly.

Not only has Hostgator been helpful in quickly resolving my issues, they are consistently friendly when they do so, and that is a plus in my book when it comes to service you have to pay for. It definitely makes you feel better when you have to pay out money.

Resolution to my reseller account issue: Well, after two tickets and a chat session, they were not only able to resolve the issue within 24 hours, but I was credited back my money and was able to place it towards an upgraded account. Talk about fast and effective. I will not be going anywhere too soon and I have the option of hosting other accounts myself (for all my clients) at reasonable rates and STILL utilize the technical support I so love.

If you are already are set up with Hostgator as a cost effective hosting agent, let us know about your experience!
